Hi Carole,This live blogging looks very intriguing. I have now joined and will have to experiment. Can't wait to see you in action :-) so do let me know next time you plan to give it a go. I can see we wil have to develop strategies in delivery and consider when it will be say more useful/appropriate than a live virtual conference room. Glad to see you embedded it into Wet Paint as the site pushes blogging as the main location for embedding. Cheers Viv Do you find this valuable?

Hi there Viv, yes I learned about Live Blogging only recently - in an educational setting. It's apparently quite popular for live coverage of physical events for those who are participating or not. I'll definitely invite all the members of this network to come along to a Live Blog to watch and contribute real soon.My spin on using Live Blogs is to enable instant text based interaction wrapped around activities that the participants may be engaged in at the time. e.g. teachers may be experimenting with some web 2.0 tool at the same time and collaborating about it using a live blog. This would keep the interaction simple, synchronous and syndicated. No need for a virtual room, headphones, microphones, Java or anything else except a link to a website. It has great potential.
